Driving Directions
 From center city Philadelphia
Take I-76/Schuylkill Expressway West to Exit 339, City Ave/Route 1 South. NOTE, this is a left-side exit! Stay on City Avenue
approximately 1 mile . Turn left on Belmont Avenue. First light, left on Ford Road. Stay on Ford Road half a mile, go through stone tunnel to stop sign, left at stop sign onto Chamounix Drive.
Chamounix Mansion is on the circle at the end of the drive. Welcome!
From New York City
Drive South on the New Jersey Turnpike. Get off at Exit 4, then drive north on NJ 73. Take that to NJ 38 West, to NJ 30 West, and over the Ben Franklin Bridge. From Washington, DC

Take Valley Forge Exit 24 and follow the I-76/Schuylkill Expressway East. Continue to Exit 339, City Ave/Route 1 South. Stay on City Avenue approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Belmont Avenue. Public Transportation
From Center City Philadelphia
Take SEPTA bus #38 on Market Street between 5th and 13th Streets,
or on JFK Boulevard between 15th and 20th Streets. Get off at Ford
and Cranston Roads. Continue walking down Ford, turn left at the
Stop Sign under the Stone Bridge onto Chamounix Drive, then walk
to the end (about 1 mile).
From Points in New Jersey
Use New Jersey Transit
and following SEPTA info above.
From Greyhound Bus Terminal
Walk one block south to Market Street to take the #38 bus. Get
off at Ford and Cranston Roads. Continue walking down Ford, turn
left at the Stop Sign under the Stone Bridge onto Chamounix Drive,
then walk to the end (about 1 mile).
From 30th Street Amtrak Train Station
Go to the train platform marked "SEPTA" and take any
train to Suburban Station - it's only a 2 minutes ride and it's
free with your AMTRAK ticket stub. Walk outside to JFK Boulevard,
and take SEPTA bus #38 to Ford and Cranston Roads. Continue walking
down Ford, turn left at the Stop Sign under the Stone Bridge onto
Chamounix Drive, walk to the end (about 1 mile).
From Philadelphia International Airport
 There are three ways to go:
- The first is by taxicab, which will cost at least $30.00.
- The second is to go to the Ground Transportation Desk (near the luggage claim area) and take the Lady Liberty van for $18.00 - it will take you straight to our door.
- The third way is by public transportation. Take the SEPTA R1
train to Suburban Station. Walk outside to JFK Boulevard, and
take SEPTA bus #38 to Ford and Cranston Roads. Continue walking
down Ford, turn left at the Stop Sign under the Stone Bridge onto
Chamounix Drive, walk to the end (about 1 mile).

A Note About Taxi
Fares
Please be aware that taxis in Philadelphia
are among the most expensive in the US. From the airport,
the fare will be at al lest $35.00 and maybe more. From the
Amtrak 30th Street train station the fare should be around
$18.00. From the bus station and most of Center City, the
fare should be about $20.00.
If the driver says he is lost, tell
him to turn off the meter - you DO NOT have to pay him to
be lost. All licensed Philadelphia cabs now have GPS installed. A cab driver only needs to enter our address: 3250 Chamounix Dr into their GPS to get directions.
If your driver is charging a significantly larger
amount than the amounts quoted above, come into the Mansion
and have the Manager on duty go out to talk to the driver.

Biking
 Bike West on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway following signs for the West River Drive. You will pass in front of the Art Museum. Take the underpass to connect to the West River Drive. Once on the Drive go through two traffic lights. Exactly 1.2 miles past the second light there is an Exit Ramp on the left leading to the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Veer left up the ramp to the bridge level. At Stop Sign, turn left and proceed up the hill.
Take the right hand fork at the top of the hill. At Stop Sign, proceed onto Chamounix Drive. Follow Chamounix Drive straight to end.
